What is the NVD?
To conserve, educate and research nature and to preserve endangered species.
What does the NVD do?
- Funding of projects aimed at the conservation of unique or endangered animal species and their habitat (through the fund for nature conservation ‘Stichting Dierentuinen Helpen’);
- Using the knowledge and expertise of the Dutch Zoos;
- Performing research;
- Nature- and environment education.
