What is RAVON?
RAVON is the knowledge organisation for the protection of reptiles, amfibians and fish.

What does RAVON do?
RAVON consist of a working organisation (28 employees) that do research and assist thousands of volunteers from the national offices in Nijmegen and Amsterdam. Besides research and assistence of volunteers, RAVON also informs, advises, protects species and their environment, collects data and coordinates national measuring activities. 

Why is RAVON a member of IUCN?
Besides its national interests, RAVON is explicitly working on expanding its international network.
