Tropenbos International is an organisation based in the Netherlands which aims to improve tropical forest management for the benefit of people, conservation and sustainable development.
What does Tropenbos International do?
Tropenbos International develops partnership programmes directed at knowledge, capacity building, institutional development and informed dialogue in tropical forest countries: in particular in Colombia, Bolivia, Guyana, Suriname, Ghana, Cameroon, DR Congo, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
By making knowledge work for forests and people, Tropenbos International contributes to well-informed decision making for improved management and governance of tropical forests. Tropenbos’ longstanding local presence and ability to bring together local, national and international partners make it a trusted partner in sustainable development.
