Who are the people that drive the conservation movement? What inspires them to keep pushing for a world where nature can thrive? In a new online exposition, Members and partners from IUCN National Committee of The Netherlands share their individual perspectives on conservation.

International Union for Conservation of Nature is a membership network uniquely composed of both governments and civil society organisations. But, ultimately, it is the people behind these organisations that give the union its power -- give it its face.

Coenraad Krijger, director of IUCN National Committee of The Netherlands: “With Faces of Conservation, we celebrate the diversity of individuals within IUCN National Committee of The Netherlands, by paying tribute to their personal motivations to safeguard our planet’s natural beauty. Because in the end, is the variety of these unique perspectives combined that contribute to our shared mission: a just world that values and conserves nature."
