Johan van de Gronden new vice-chair IUCN NL board
IUCN NL welcomes Johan van de Gronden to its board. Van de Gronden takes over the role of Kitty van der Heijden as vice-chair.

His extensive network, his broad background and experience and, of course, his passion for conservation is of much value to IUCN NL.”
Johan van de Gronden (52) has been CEO of WWF-NL since 2006. Starting July 1st, he is appointed CEO of PUM senior experts (PUM), a voluntary organization focused on achieving sustainable growth of small business in developing countries. Prior to joining WWF-NL, Van de Gronden has worked for the United Nations, the Dutch development organization SNV and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Kitty van der Heijden leaves IUCN NL after two years. Kitty and her family will relocate to Ethiopia. Van der Heijden will remain Director Europa at the internationally renowned World Resources Institute (WRI).
