It is home to one of the most elusive predators on the planet: the Persian leopard. This extremely rare predator became the focus and flagship for the establishment of the first nature reserve in the entire region, the Qara Dagh Nature Reserve.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block block-container small-12 large-offset-1 large-10\">\n<p>In this episode of the Conservation Inspiration podcast series, host <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iucn.nl\/en\/rosamira-guillen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rosamira Guillen<\/a> is joined by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iucn.nl\/en\/hana-raza\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hana Raza<\/a> of the NGO Nature Iraq.
