If you encounter any technical difficulties with ConservationGrants, please email <a href=\"mailto:conservationgrants@conservation.org\">conservationgrants@conservation.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block block-container small-12 large-offset-1 large-10\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Technical scope of the call<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block block-container small-12 large-offset-1 large-10\">\n<p>CEPF is looking for proposals focusing on the following Investment Priorities as part of Strategic Directions 2 and 4 as detailed in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cepf.net\/sites\/default\/files\/cepf-ecosystem-profile-madio-2022-en-2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the ecosystem profile<\/a>:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block block-container small-12 large-offset-1 large-10\">\n<p><strong>Strategic Direction 2:<\/strong> Support local communities and civil society to strengthen the integration of the EbA approach, ecosystem resilience and biodiversity conservation into political and economic decision-making processes and education.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block block-container small-12 large-offset-1 large-10\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Investment priority 2.1: <\/strong>Develop engagement strategies with private sector actors for the integration of EbA into their activities, and also for the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity and renewable natural resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Investment priority 2.2:<\/strong> Support civil society to disseminate information and influence political and economic decision-making processes in favor of biodiversity, conservation priorities, ecosystem services and EbA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block block-container small-12 large-offset-1 large-10\">\n<p><strong>Strategic Direction 4: <\/strong>Support research and ensure the dissemination of results for the promotion and improvement of knowledge on EbA actions and related good practices.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block block-container small-12 large-offset-1 large-10\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Investment Priority 4.2: <\/strong>Support research activities that measure and verify the impact of the grant portfolio on ecosystem services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"background background-preset-primary\" id=\"block_369f5e7ba77a7ef58c055ca096461a82\">\n             <div class=\"dark custom-padding-top\">\n    \n\n<div class=\"block block-container small-12 large-offset-1 large-10\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>More Information<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block block-container small-12 large-offset-1 large-10\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Online information sessions<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block block-container small-12 large-offset-1 large-10\">\n<p>Online information sessions in French and English were held on March 21st and March 22nd to inform all potential candidates and give them the opportunity to ask questions. Coordinated by IUCN NL, the RIT includes SAF\/FJKM for Madagascar, ID-ONG for Comoros, FORENA for Mauritius and SeyCCAT for Seychelles. These organizations are working with CEPF to implement a five-year conservation strategy for the hotspot and build local civil society capacity.
