For example: For Seychelles: <strong>LOI_2\/2024\/SG_CEPF_SEY\/IUCN NL<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block block-container small-12 large-offset-1 large-10\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technical scope of the call<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block block-container small-12 large-offset-1 large-10\">\n<p>CEPF is looking for proposals focusing on the following Investment Priority as part of Strategic Directions 1 as detailed in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cepf.net\/sites\/default\/files\/cepf-ecosystem-profile-madio-2022-en-2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the ecosystem profile<\/a>:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block block-container small-12 large-offset-1 large-10\">\n<p><strong>Strategic Direction 1<\/strong>: Empower communities and civil society to implement actions to improve the resilience of species, ecosystems, and human populations to climate change in priority Key Biodiversity Areas (KBAs).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block block-container small-12 large-offset-1 large-10\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Investment Priority 1.1<\/strong>: Implement Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) actions, including agroforestry, \u201cclimate smart agriculture\u201d, eradication of Invasive alien species (IAS), restoration of degraded watersheds and coastal ecosystems (including wetlands, mangroves, reefs and seagrass beds), and promotion of sustainable management of coastal and terrestrial ecosystems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Investment Priority 1.2: Support the establishment and development of economic models that improve the resilience of local communities to climate change and support value chains for natural products while strengthening ecosystem services that contribute to EbA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block block-container small-12 large-offset-1 large-10\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More information<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block block-container small-12 large-offset-1 large-10\">\n<p><strong>An online information session will be held in English on Thursday, 11th April from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Seychelles time, GMT+4)<\/strong>&nbsp;to inform all potential candidates and give them the opportunity to ask questions. Coordinated and led by IUCN NL, the RIT includes SAF\/FJKM for Madagascar, ID-ONG for Comoros, FORENA for Mauritius and SeyCCAT for Seychelles. These organizations are working with CEPF to implement a five-year conservation strategy for the hotspot and build local civil society capacity.
