Bird Brewery, a brewery with a heart for nature and birds in particular, will once again support the Land Acquisition Fund. Every litre of beer sold contributes to securing the habitat of the maleo in Tompotika, Indonesia. \u2018We believe that action is needed now to preserve existing nature. This new initiative will enable us to focus on safeguarding areas together with strong local partners,\u2019 says Rik van den Berg, co-founder of Bird Brewery.<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n

Bird Brewery wants to contribute to a greener world. The brewery has previously supported various organisations for planting trees. In 2022, they also donated to the Land Acquisition Fund for the expansion of the Mesenia-Paramillo nature reserve in Colombia<\/a>. Since nature conservation does not require nature restoration, Bird Brewery wants to contribute to protecting an important nature reserve as a next step.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

This week the brewery is launching a new initiative: 1 litre of beer = 1 m\u00b2 of nature. \u2018The power of this idea lies in its simplicity,\u2019 says Ralph van Bemmel, co-founder of Bird Brewery. \u2018One litre of beer is directly linked to one square metre of nature conservation. That makes the impact tangible and concrete: for ourselves and for everyone who enjoys our beers.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
