IUCN NL takes measures regarding COVID-19
The coronavirus (COVID-19) has a major impact. The magnitude of the direct health threat, the economic disruption and the consequences for nature remain uncertain. IUCN NL will continue its work remotely and will host upcoming events remotely.
IUCN NL is following the guidelines and protocols of the Dutch government and the RIVM. This means that our team is working from home until at least April 28. As usual, our employees can be reached via their personal mail and telephone number. You can also reach us at our general phone number.
Until June 1, upcoming events and meetings will take place remotely or, whenever this is not possible, events are postponed to a later date. Those involved will be personally informed about this.
Concerns and support
As Dutch national committee of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), we are in close contact with our members and partners, both in the Netherlands and worldwide.
We are concerned about the impact of COVID-19 on the health of the people in our network and beyond. We are also concerned about the consequences for the important work of our partners in Africa, Asia and Latin America and of our Dutch member organizations.
Our hearts and thoughts go out to all who are affected by this global crisis. We are actively reaching out to our partners and member organisations to keep in close contact with us and to see how we can support them.
