Land Acquisition Fund: a safe habitat for endangered species
Land-use change, including deforestation, poses the greatest threat to plant and animal species worldwide. For more than 25 years, the IUCN NL Land Acquisition Fund has been enabling the protection of the habitats of threatened and vulnerable species. Thanks to local conservationists, safeguarding key ecosystems creates a win-win situation for biodiversity and the well-being of local communities. The Land Acquisition Fund is supported by the Postcode Lottery and a growing number of private donors and benefactors.
